Question by : Is there a vaccine for Dengue Fever?
Traveling to Honduras in May, wanted to know if there were vaccines for dengue fever available.

There is no vaccine or any type of preventative medication for Dengue fever. The vaccination advice for Honduras is at the link:

There really isnt a cure for it.. But if you get it, youll suddenly get a very high temp that includes Headache, (especially behind the eyes) Fatigue, Joint aches, Muscle aches, Nausea, Swollen lymph nodes, and Vomiting.

Also a flat red-rash would appear on your body after 2-5 days. A second rash, which looks like the measles, appears later in the disease. Infected people may have increased skin sensitivity and are very uncomfortable.
But like i said.. There isnt a specific type of cure for it yet..

Yes, they are vaccines for dengue after you get the virus that a Doctor will give you. I once had it and a Doctor gave me some treatments. but be careful see a Doctor immediately don’t take care of this on your own because it’s a very dangerous virus , if you look it up many people have died because of this so go to the hospital ASAP.
